Above: North Facade of El Calvario Church, Antigua. The Church is open to the public and houses a collection of colonial art. To the right is a dome of the church in Jocotenango. Below: The top of the Arch of Santa Catalina in Antigua supports this covered bridge that connected a cloister to gardens on the other side of the street. It belonged to the Convent of Santa Catalina, Virgin and Martyr. The nuns used it to cross above a street without being seen. |
