Elcarver Rotimi Agbola |
Elcarver Rotimi, a Nigerian painter, uses acrylic paint, batik or pen and ink to produce his paintings. Sometimes he combines those techniques and achieves very interesting results. In his paintings he explores new ways to envision the world, nature, and the self. He blends depictions of natural phenomena with magical, supernatural and mythical elements. Elcarver's African heritage is clearly present in his paintings. His works have power to educate and entertain both sophisticated art enthusiasts as well as families exploring art together for the first time. |
